Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and MDCATify when you use the platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. We’ve kept them plain and short.
1About MDCATify
MDCATify is a study aid for MDCAT preparation. Its content — questions, explanations and analytics — is provided for educational, supplementary use and is not a substitute for official curricula, your institution, or professional advice.
2Your account
You need an account to practise. You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Please give accurate information, keep one account per person, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3Free plan & subscriptions
Every new account is on the free plan — no card, no expiry. Free accounts get a limited daily practice allowance, and Pro unlocks everything — unlimited practice, full mock tests and complete analytics.
You can pay for Pro by local wallet or bank transfer with a receipt we confirm. Wallet and bank payments are one-off activations for the period you buy — you keep access to the end of that period. Prices and plans may change, but changes never affect a period you’ve already paid for. See our Privacy Policy for how payment data is handled.
4Refunds
Because the free plan lets you try the core features — and AI with your own key — before paying, we generally don’t refund time that has already elapsed. If something went wrong, contact support and we’ll do our best to make it right. See our full Refund Policy for wallet/bank payments and exactly when we refund.
5Acceptable use
Use MDCATify for your own MDCAT preparation. Please don’t:
- share, sell or transfer your account;
- copy, scrape or redistribute the question bank or explanations;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service; or
- upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
6Content & intellectual property
The platform, its design, and the question bank and explanations are owned by MDCATify or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own exam preparation only — not to redistribute them or build a competing product.
7AI-assisted content
Some questions and explanations are prepared or refined with AI assistance and reviewed before publishing. We aim for accuracy, but errors can slip through — always cross-check against your official syllabus and textbooks, and use the in-app report option to flag anything that looks wrong so we can fix it.
8No guarantee of results
MDCATify is a practice tool. We can’t and don’t guarantee any particular MDCAT score, admission or outcome — your results depend on your own preparation and the official exam.
9Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, MDCATify is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10Suspension & termination
You can stop using MDCATify and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or other users. Some terms — such as content ownership and liability — continue to apply after your account ends.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform changes. We’ll update the “last updated” date above, and continuing to use MDCATify after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any disputes will be handled by the courts there — unless local consumer law gives you rights that can’t be overridden.
