MDCAT Past Papers by Year (2022–2025)

Past papers are the closest thing to seeing the exam before you sit it. They tell you how deep the questions actually go, which topics come back year after year, and how fast you need to move — things no syllabus list can teach you.
One thing to get straight first: the MDCAT has not been the same paper every year. It was a 220-question UHS paper for Punjab until 2019, became a 210-question national exam under the PMC from 2020. In 2023 and 2024 each province set its own 200-question paper on one PMDC syllabus, KMU for KP, UHS for Punjab and so on, and from 2025 that paper is 180 questions. Anyone quoting you a single format for every year has not checked. Each card below says exactly what its own year was.

How to actually use a past paper
Reading a past paper with the answer key open feels productive and teaches you almost nothing. Two habits separate students who gain marks from past papers and students who only feel busy:
- Sit it timed, once, cold. One pass under the real clock, no notes, no pausing. That score is your honest baseline — and the panic of running out of time is exactly the thing you want to feel now instead of in the hall.
- Then spend longer on the review than the paper. For every question you missed, work out whether you did not know it, misread it, or ran out of time. Three different problems, three different fixes. Repeated topics across years are your revision list, already written for you.
Once you know your weak topics, drill them rather than re-reading whole chapters — the MDCAT study plan and the full syllabus outline show you where each topic sits.
