Refund & Service Delivery Policy

How MDCATify delivers its (fully digital) service and how payments and refunds work. Access is granted instantly online after payment; because the free plan lets you try the core features before paying, refunds are limited — but we always fix genuine billing errors and service failures. We’ve kept this plain and short.

1How the service is delivered

MDCATify is a fully digital service — there is nothing physical to ship. When your payment is confirmed, your account is upgraded and access is granted instantly online (card payments unlock automatically; manual wallet/bank payments unlock as soon as we verify the receipt). You use everything in your browser or the installable app at mdcatify.com; nothing is posted or couriered.

A paid (Pro) subscription includes:

  • Unlimited topic-wise practice questions with explanations
  • Full-length, timed mock tests in the real MDCAT format
  • AI-generated explanations for any question
  • AI test generation on chosen topics
  • In-depth performance analytics and progress tracking
  • Week-by-week study plans
  • Aggregate & marks-conversion calculators
  • Bookmarks, streaks and the leaderboard

2Try before you pay

Every account starts on the free plan — no card and no expiry — so you can try the core features (daily practice, and AI with your own key) before spending anything. Because you can evaluate the product for free, we generally do not refund time that has already elapsed on a paid plan. This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service.

3Card subscriptions

Where online card checkout is enabled, Pro is a subscription that may renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your Subscription page and keep access until the end of the current billing period — cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are already in.

If you were charged for a renewal you did not intend, contact us within 7 days of that charge and, provided you have not made substantial use of the plan in that period, we will review it for a refund.

4Wallet & bank transfers

Local wallet (e.g. JazzCash) and bank-transfer payments are one-off activations for the period you buy — they do not auto-renew. Once a manual payment is confirmed and the plan is activated, it is generally non-refundable for the elapsed period, except in the cases below.

5When we will refund

We will issue a refund if:

  • You were charged more than once for the same subscription period (we refund the duplicate);
  • You were charged in error — for example an accidental renewal reported within 7 days, before substantial use of the new period;
  • The service failed materially and we were unable to resolve it for you within a reasonable time; or
  • a refund is required by the consumer law that applies to you.

Refunds are made to the original payment method where possible. Once approved, card refunds typically take a few business days to appear; wallet and bank refunds depend on the provider.

6How to request a refund

Email us from the address on your account and include your registered email and the approximate date and method of the payment. We aim to respond within a few business days. If something went wrong, tell us — we will always try to make it right.

7Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform changes. We will update the “last updated” date above; changes never affect a period you have already paid for.
