About MDCATify

MDCATify is an MDCAT preparation site, built in Pakistan for students sitting the test here. The idea behind it is simple. Most students revise by re-reading chapters, then find out on exam day which topics they never really knew. You learn that much faster by answering questions and seeing, in writing, why an answer was wrong.

So the whole site is built around practice: answer a question, read the explanation, and let the weak topics surface on their own. It is run by the MDCATify team, and you can reach us at the address and number at the bottom of this page.

Who it is for

An FSc student preparing for the MDCAT, usually alongside college and usually on a phone. That shapes everything. Pages are light, a practice session works on a weak connection, and nothing assumes you have two free hours or a laptop in front of you.

You can read every guide on this site without an account: the syllabus, the study plan, the past papers and the blog. Practising needs a free account. What the free account covers and what Pro adds is set out on the pricing page, which is the only place those limits are written down, so they cannot go stale here.

What the exam looks like

The MDCAT is 180 multiple-choice questions in three hours, with no negative marking. The subjects are not equal, and that single fact decides how you should split your time:

SubjectQuestionsShare of paper
MDCAT Biology≈ 8145%
MDCAT Chemistry≈ 4525%
MDCAT Physics≈ 3620%
MDCAT English≈ 95%
MDCAT Logical Reasoning≈ 95%

Everything on the site follows that split. A mock test is built in these proportions, and each subject has its own guide under MDCAT subjects.

What is on the site

  • Topic-wise practice with explanations. Pick a subject, chapter or topic and work through questions. Every question has a written explanation, not just a letter.
  • Full mock tests. 180 questions, three hours, the real subject split and a clock that keeps running. Try the free sampler without signing up.
  • Real past papers. Papers from 2022 to 2025 set by UHS, KMU, ETEA, DUHS, SIBA and SZABMU. Each paper has its own page with that paper's facts and some of its questions answered and explained.
  • Analytics that name the problem. After a session you see which topics cost you marks and in what order to fix them, instead of a bare score.
  • Merit calculators. The aggregate calculator works out the MDCAT score you need from your Matric and FSc marks, and the closing-merit page shows where Punjab's public medical colleges actually closed.

When a question is wrong

Some will be. A bank this size always has errors in it, and pretending otherwise would be the quickest way to lose your trust. So every question in the app has a Report button under it. Tell us what is wrong, whether that is the answer key, the wording, or an explanation that does not add up.

Most reports take the question out of practice straight away, so nobody else loses a mark to it while we look. Then we fix it, put it back as it was if the answer stands, or retire it for good. If something is wrong and you cannot find the button, email mdcatify045@gmail.com.

You will learn more from ten questions and their explanations than from an hour of re-reading. Make a free account and see where you stand.
